I have stripped our terrier cos she was moulting....havn't had her long, she was a stray. Got rid of lots of guard hairs & soft underhair but have noticed she is covered with scurfy dandruffy bits near her skin. Do we need to head to the Vet?

I would bath her first with a gentle shampoo (tea tree or something similar) , and put either a teaspoonfull of vegetable oil or margerine in her food a couple of times a week. The skin has not had a chance to breathe with all her coat on and will have dried out, so it should improve now you have stripped her out. The oil will help to improve the skin condition too.
(Or give her a tin of sardines/pilchards in oil once a week).
