lump found in dogs side what is it?

a few days ago i noticed a lump or hard gristle on my dogs side.Its not in or under the skin-i can pick up the skin and the knot moves w/it.I'm worried as to what it could be-she still plays as much as ever-she has been spayed matbe 2 weeks ago.Could you help me find out what this is?
