I would like to thank all for their help & suggestions.
special tks to Nosha 123.
I e-mailed the Wild Life sanctuary and the replied straight away to bring her, so I made the journey from Essex to Surrey to take her. Yes I told her mum she was going to a better place !
Feel much better knowing she is getting proper care and left a small donation, she is a wood pigeon they said and they will release her at the appropriate time.

I was so scared she might die alone in my shed.
They were really nice there when they took her in, and I have peace of mind, would recommend anyone taking any wildlife there, well worth the journey, they have a litle hospital too and give advice over the phone.
