could anyone help. i have a very large invasion of Spanish flies.against`my `bitter` judgement the insecticide will not kill them. why! their large dark things with big brown eyes scary, any tips on getting rid of them.

the flies are to strong to zap.maybe i should try a Venus fly trap.

yes carlton23 you are correct,but unfortunately for me i have been to Spain and must have brought back a fly in my suitcase.now i am invaded with buzzing noisy flies,

How do you know the flies are from Spain?

b00bs, also a good tip, when you wash your windows, but a few drops of 'Tea-Tree Oil' in with the water - flies from all countries hate it! It will also deter them from coming in the window. If you can, burn some also in an incense burner - I keep one going in the kitchen this time of year, and we have hardly had any in the house!
