Glucosamine and chondroitin combined is a well known health supplement for dogs with joint/stiffness problems. It is usually cheaper to buy the human version when it is on offer although there are also many pet sites that do medicines etc. online such as canine chemist, pet dispensary, hyperdrug and all have offers from time to time.
My dog has been on glucosamine for over a year now. I think it did make a slight improvement at first but latterly she has got more lame and today has had to go to the vet. I am 81.00 poorer now!!!
