There are no sheep in a herd of cows, although they could be hiding in there somewhere I suppose...

If you are asking how many sheep in a flock...in the U.S. there are 1,800.  A herd of cows may be much smaller, however in the western U.S. (grew up on the family ranch) you never ask how many cows one has... it's not the cowboy way!
