tropical fish tank snails-More oddness

New thermostat working ok,snails VERY odd.They are still,about once a day crawling towards the top of the tank in a V shape.I was mean and took advantage of them being in the same place at the same time and scooped them out.
10 minutes later,more are back,same place,same shape.Ditto these too.(sorry but they where starting to take over slightly)
Again,more back,same as before.SO, I thought,you are not very bright,but thats enough removals for one night.Later they had all gone back to their usual places.
They never behaved like this before last week when the thermostat broke,what the heck is going on??!!

Hi, im unsure what question you are asking but if it is how to get rid of snails, there is a liquid solution you can buy from any decent aquatics shop that kills them off. Beware though, as ive heard the solution can be dangerous to some types of fish i.e piranha. It will be impossible to remove them just by netting them as they almost continually lay eggs. look out for small bundles of eggs looking a bit like frog spawn, a clearish clump of jelly with white dots in the middle. they are normally found stuck to the glass. sorry,my question should of been clearer-why are the snails behaving this way all of a sudden?
