The best of luck to all who have entered. Getting excited? We should be on the Mastiff 'Discover Dogs' stand after judging. Love to see any Abers who are there.

Look out for a little bloke dressed as a Hungarian Puli then ! It'll take ages to get my coat's ' cords' sorted but the result should be worth it.
Good luck with the judges, if you're showing. . I'm there all four days. With the perfect result, you'll be there on just two, at best.

Fedpuli I have no great ambitions. George was placed last year in his first show as a PG and I was thrilled to bits. We just want to enjoy the day. Are you doing discover dogs or are you showing every day?
Not showing and not Discover Dogs, thugulike. Not even handling so far as I know, though I'm sometimes handed something and asked to 'do the business' with it.I'm always be there all four days because I'll know people showing on each day, I've had breeds from every group (I'm that old in dogdom!) and chat to anyone about their progress, share their complaints about the judging (' I hate that trend towards dogs with three legs, I think it's a fault, but of course X 's dog throws that and Y is judging...'),and guess which of the American owned dogs has a full page ad in the daily programme and will be BIS. LOL
I'm with you. Just getting one there is something, and enjoying the day.Depends on your breed, but you may have driven thousands of miles to stand in godforsaken halls or tents in the middle of nowhere, just to get that far. You're entitled to enjoy it.
Writing this in the Travelodge having been up to the NEC to set up our Discover Dogs booth. Back tomorrow showing four, home tomorrow night, back Friday night to do DD Saturday, then home and back Sunday for DD and take down the booth. Good luck and hope anyone who is going enjoys their day. Will give you a look thugs.
