Not showing and not Discover Dogs, thugulike. Not even handling so far as I know, though I'm sometimes handed something and asked to 'do the business' with it.I'm always be there all four days because I'll know people showing on each day, I've had breeds from every group (I'm that old in dogdom!) and chat to anyone about their progress, share their complaints about the judging (' I hate that trend towards dogs with three legs, I think it's a fault, but of course X 's dog throws that and Y is judging...'),and guess which of the American owned dogs has a full page ad in the daily programme and will be BIS. LOL
I'm with you. Just getting one there is something, and enjoying the day.Depends on your breed, but you may have driven thousands of miles to stand in godforsaken halls or tents in the middle of nowhere, just to get that far. You're entitled to enjoy it.
