Have had a plague of wasps this month. They crawl in my east-facing window in the morning (third-floor flat). I've noticed that the window frame is spotted with what must be wasp piddle. I've tried explaining to the stripey beggars that I'm not happy with their actions but the arrogant sods ignore me.

So, does the wasp piddle attract other wasps?

Don't kill wasps....as they are dying they release a distress pheromone that attracts others.
Clean the window frame with strong disinfectant or white vinegar and get one of those fine mesh window screens to stop them getting in.

there is a jar you can buy that hangs from a string and it is open on one side and if you put jam honey etc in it then the wasps bees etc get trapped in it and die hense not bothering you any more

Please, please don't do anything to kill bees. They are in decline and we need them. Apparently they are necessary for 1/3 of the food we consume.

I must admit I don't have a great liking for wasps, but they must have their uses.
