Just heard on TV, the family of the twins who were mauled by a urban fox, are now having to have police protection around the clock....
Animal Rights protesters have been threatening them..
Have these nutters got nothing better to do? would they rather the babies have died as long as Basil Brush was allowed to roam unabated?
From what I see of Eco Warriors and Animal Rights people, they are scruffy, unkempt and don't appear to work?
Why can't they just be arrested for harassment?

Hear bl00dy hear.
I read this at the weekend and thought how ridiculous it's all got.

I don't necessarily generalise about all animal rights folks being scruffy and unemployed (!!!), but I do think the harrassment the twins' parents have been getting is totally uncalled for.
Don't let them hear you in animals and nature, you'll be lynched!
Seriously though as an animal lover I'll always pick the human life over an animals.
Agree with you Bobbi. These Animal Rights protesters are a joke, if they really cared about our Wildlife they should protest about Animal Cruelty when it occurs. In this instance no Animal cruelty has happened as it was the Babies that were harmed....

Cheers sqad, that's my twin!
He's turning my stomach (and other areas) ON............

Just for today sqad, just for the ladies !!
I think you should take it over to animals & nature.... I'll support you bobbi, without a shadow of a doubt.
Johnny Depp is Ace ! :-)
Bobbi, even hardcore animal lovers must see the light on this one, a fox attacked 2 babies, ok call it nature, instinct etc... but to then punish the parents because the police/pest control want the attacking fox killed is absurd!
A few people on here said that they feel the same about animals as they do towards children. People can be strange at times.
I don't agree with prostestors threatening the family over the situation at all. But to make a judgement like ''From what I see of Eco Warriors and Animal Rights people, they are scruffy, unkempt and don't appear to work?'' is ridiculous.
Please don't confuse animal rights protesters with animal lovers. That's all I would ask. There are some genuinely good animal rights protesters though, others would seem to join in for their own reasons, perhaps they just like protesting - it's their lifestyle.

I can't understand why Animal Rights has got involved in this. I am against culling foxes. But why have they picked on the parents of the babies? Don't understand it.
One of those people Another-view is me!

In my opinion animals are just as important as people. But let me make it very clear I do not agree with people threatening the family over it all!
I dont get it either the parents didnt kill the fox in question did they?so why the animal rights people got an issue with them very odd.
I don't understand then. How can people be treated the same as animals? These people are obviously crazy.
That is my opinion, which I am entitled to.
"animals are just as important as people".

Nobody died from the attack, so why kill the fox then? They are right to harrass the parents in your eyes. If it wasn't for them, the fox could roam safely.
If you read my posts Anotherview you will see exactly what I said.

''But let me make it very clear I do not agree with people threatening the family over it all! ''
