Mother Osprey is still with us....

Such determination, 60 feet up a Scots Pine tree this morning- and although she is still very poorly, she has been moving round the nest. Dad is feeding the chicks, we all wish she would ask for a bit! The blog from the wardens is very beautiful this morning. I have to go to work, but here is the link for anyone who doesn't have it

Yes I can see it now, they are arguing and tugging over it! I wish she would eat a bit.

Another fish has just come in, Mrs O took it off him straight away but she's leaving the babies to eat it at the moment - Dad's flown off and Mrs O is calling for More Fish.

If anyone cannot view it, the male has just returned with another fish and passed it over to 'Lady'. She walked it twice round the perimeter of the nest before leaving it for the chicks to tear up- but they couldn't and eventuaslly she started tearing it up, ate some and fed some to the chicks.

This may be a turning point.

This is amazing. Lady seems to be feeding with the chicks now and I think dad has just flown back in.

While I posted that, the male came back with yet another fish. Now each parent is feeding a chick and she seems to be taking occasional pieces for herself.

They are both feeding the chicks now, and the female seems to be eating some herself.

This is just beautiful. Dad is feeding one baby and Mum's feeding the other. I;ve tried to get a photo off the screen, has to be seen to be believed. Hopefully she'll save a little bit for herself! After the last couple of days, this is amazing!

Yep, she's eating - both the chicks have gone to Dad, and Mum's finishing off her fish herself. Hooray!
