How can anyone not love a nice friendly cat? We have one that visits us every day when we are on our Patio and just wants to be loved and cuddled all the time, and then she goes home to her lodgings in the evening. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN WE TRY TO DO SOME WEEDING SHE GETS IN THE B****Y WAY ALL THE TIME.

Sorry, should have put my post in `pets`
That's OK - we still saw it - and yes, they do that. They also poo in the hole you have made by taking the weeds out. The only way to counter it is Get Your Own Cat - our cats never poo in our garden, they go up the road.....
Cats are evil, manipulative little furr-balls. They bite and scratch if they don't get their own way all the time. They run circuits around the house at three in the morning, the circuit is usually over their human slave's bed and they just have to stomp all over said human.

I could say more but my cats are calling me - they want a snack before bedtime.

But you are right - they do get in the way, it is attention seeking. They can do it for hours on end.

;-)
But she loves you carlton or you wouldn't be the chosen one would you?

She loves my missus more ttfn, thank goodness, bless er.
Love the boss!
As a child I took in my first stray cat - huge thing she was, used to sleep on my bed every night. Every morning she would wake me up at 5.30 to be let outside. After 2 years of this behaviour I discovered she would go to my elderly neighbour who always liked to get up before 6.00 and cadge breakfast No 1 of the day before returning to me at 7.00 for breakfast No 2. Told you she was a huge cat!
I would say "they're not stupid" but my lady cat is pretty vacant. She seems to be permanently stunned. Her brother is just a normal tom - a big sappy kitten.

They will be 5 next week - I bought then a water fountain from Pet Planet. Hope they like it. I actually spent time deciding on whether to get a pink or blue one since I have a boy and a girl - I need to get out more.

Both of my Jack Russels, love cats, but they can't eat a whole one!!
Blimey wolf. Let us know if they use it - my cats only drink out of a bucket in the garden, I have to keep it topped up all through the summer, they won't drink indoors.
for the last 2 weeks we stayed at our daughters to house sit her cat. on the second day i left the cat a note to say i would be back later!

jaffa cake - I was late home one day and got a mouth of abuse from my last cat. I always tell my two where I am going and when I will be back.
Wolf63, I have one of the blue fountains & my dappy cat loves it. He likes to drink from different angles around it - maybe the water tastes different, who knows & he likes to dabble his paws in it. And he sometimes gazes into it as if wondering why there are no fish in it.
