We get a bit of shore leave, depends where you are.
Nice trip! The West Coast is more scenic, but there's lots of really pretty little fishing villages up the East Coast, and Inverness is great. Enjoy yourself x
if you turn of at the Tay and follow it to Perth you will see my haggis boat it's the one with the Skull & St Andrews Cross Bones on it

it would take more than a wee fag like you to remove me
The Ship looks lovely molly. and Scotland is lovely (when the sun shines), I hope the weather is good for you. Enjoy your trip.
Beannachd is goodbye in the sense of 'farewell' with the sense that it's unlikely we'll ever see each other again.

The usual way of saying goodbye is 'mar sin leat' / 'slan leat' if you're talking to one person you know well or younger than you, or 'mar sin leibh' / 'slan leibh' if you're talking to one person you don't know well or older than you, or more than one person.

If you want to be a bit more colloquial, you can just say 'tìoraidh', which is like saying 'ta-ra' or 'see you'...
Mark may well be right for once ;)
