She told me that once she seen a spider in the bath and screamed...so I screamed. Next time she casually said....Kaz theres a spider in the bath, can you get it out for me. So I did....I didn't find out for years what she was doing. I just thought she was busy...
A blessing in disguise I would say.

My daughter was bitten by one last week and had a very nasty reaction. She thought people would think she was daft so at first did nothing about it. She is a nature lover and always picked them up and put them outside. She will never do it in future. She was told it is not an uncommon thing in Hampshire.
Could the extra leg be the first part of the spiders moult? the new leg looks just like my tarantulas legs looked during moult it hasnt dried to its true colour , spiders usually moult by splitting its carapace and climbing out this is because the spider out grows its ecoskeleton and needs to get out. but sometimes the legs can split out of its shell and when this happens the spider often cant free itself and becomes trapped and will just die or become a victim of a predator. when this happened to my spiders i used to assist them in freeing themselves by putting tiny drops of olive oil on them and gently opening its ecoskeleton the oil acted as a lubricant and made the transition easier,

I'm afraid your grammar is a little awry there Answerprancer
The subject of the indefinite article an, is organ, not the adjective "antennae like" so an is correct. Written another way, it's an organ that is antennae like. Antennae is fine because I am not pointing to any one type of antenna, but antennae in general
I think the lines are yours to do, and the spanking...well, best not go there:)
