A Moth Caterpillar?

Found a green caterpillar the other day - looked just like a rolled leaf, mid-green in color with whitish stripes imitating the edges of a leaf and a hook on its rear. What moth would this grow into?

How big? If it's quite long (ie. best part of 3") then it's probably an elephant hawkmoth caterpillar.
I saw exactly the same one yesterday. Probably a Tomato or Tobaccoo Hornworm.
