I've been looking in the nesting box every day but no luck. Roxy is eating us out of house and home and her comb is bright red, so I knew she was ready. Then we found three lovely eggs yesterday -guess where? In the rabbit hutch!

four of us shared two, ummmm, they were delish!
They generally lay one egg every 24hrs or so.
Two of the eggs must have been in the hutch for a couple of days.
Enjoy!!
Congratulations with your firstborn (?) ☺
Excellent news crisgal, big cheer for Roxy!
I remember the first egg from my hens, like a little tasty miracle:-) Have you only got one hen crisgal? Just that they are flock birds and happier with companions, soz if you already know that, for all I know you may have a whole flock and Roxy is your latest!

hi slinky, we have roxy and mo. They are so funny, like two little old ladies, strutting around the garden!
her eggs are so small - but delicious!
Mo hasn't started laying yet, she's younger.
Almost makes cleaning up all that poo worthwhile ♥
