That's great 2shortplanks. The kittens are the easy ones to re-home it's the 10yrs & over we find the hardest.
It's very fortunate you work in a cats home with your name isn't it?

I wish more people would get their cats from Cat Rescues. All our work is voluntary so we rely on donations etc. One of our patrons is a writer called Milly Johnson & she is on 'Come dine with me' starting tomorrow.
Great news about the rehoming. All our cats when I was growing up are rescue cats and all of my own have been too.

Breaks my heart going to the rescue places, they do some fantastic work, just a shame they have to exist in the first place.
Both my dog and cat are rescues-as were their predecessors.....I wouldn't have it any other way.
Well done to you kat-I've no doubt you get a lot of gratification from your work.
My two morons and the last cat that I had were all rescued by Cats Protection. They are a brilliant charity and they work very hard to try and re-home all the cats in their care.

But until people start neutering their cats as young as possible there will always be stray kitties and litter upon litter of kittens needing homes.

All my cats over the years have been rescued and most of them have had problems when we took them on. I would be the one who would take on the cat with no ears! Circumstances now mean that it's just one cat and one dog though :o(.
kat...well done...we have 3 cats all rescued form various places, but the little devils are not at all appreciative. Well, not quite true, the last one Samantha that came to us in the cafe one morning, begging for food, she is appreciate, but Lucy whom we also saved is a right little "madam" However, Airborne who was born on out patio some 10 years ago keeps both girls in order.

We also take it in turns to feed 80 cats in a sanctuary.
sqad - just a guess but I bet that you named Airborne. My boy, in my avatar, gets beaten up by his sister regularly - he is a wimp.
>^..^<

I like the little cat symbol on your site. All my four cats over the years have just wandered into my life. My avatar is Biggy ( as opposed to Littley, my other current cat).
well done, you must really love cats, i hope all goes well with the kittens.
if only people who have all white cats would put sun block on their ears there would be less cats with skin cancer.
