Is IAMs as good as Hills for cats ?

Further to my previous question a few minutes ago, would it be worthwhile saving money and buying IAMs instead of Hills for my cat, or is Hills a better product ?

I was put off IAMS for my dog by the dog groomer, she recommended Burns for cats and dogs.

murphy has iams and shes healthy enough, no idea if its better than hills

She said it was full of additives, and had a high fat content.....

royal canin....lots of variants for breed types/age/indoor /outdoor/fat etc seems to suit Tinkerbella

My cats eat both IAMS and Hills (generally whatever's been on special offer!) Hills is more expensive round here, they like best Wellbeloved or the Purina brands. They won't eat cheap biscuit and I don't blame them, so much is filler. However they have biscuit as only part of their diet, they have pouches or trays the rest of the time.

craft, there are so many different varieties, indoor, hairy cat, etc. - I think that's a bit general to say they are all full of fat and additives. Easy to read the labels if it really worries anyone.

don't go ahh blessing, you try living with the hairy sh1tbag and see how you like it. this mornings antics included tripping me up on the stairs, knocking my eyeliner so i nearly blinded myself and as per usual using me as a pin cushion

I would feed Iams every time. Check the ingredients for Hills, lots of unnecessary fillers.

Smurf - my cat wont eat Iams - it's Hills or Purina - fussy little git - stupid as well, sat howling on the windowsil of the study this morning in the wind and rain - think she forgot she had a catflap!

Well my boy is a fatty as you can see, maybe I will go by what the vet says and stick to Hills ... he loves them.
