dog muzzles
6 Answers
we have two male dogs and when OH walks them if they should pass other dogs being walked our two male dogs turn on each other and start fighting, we have had to start walking them seperately but it would be nice to be able to walk them at the same time, we were considering putting muzzles on both of them but not sure which ones would be best.
(by the way they dont fight when they are at home)

They stop them opening their mouths wide but the can still pant and drink with them Then basket ones (baskerville) will allow them to still have a go at each other although they cannot actually get hold of each other in them. The mikki ones seem to have more of a calming effect and they soon get used to wearing them.
I can't speak for the mikki muzzle, but I use Baskerville muzzles for mine and the have a pretty good calming effect. They also stop the dogs being able to make any contact with their mouths (if fitted correctly). The only downside is that people think you have a devil dog with such an overt muzzle.
