Hi, Does anybody have any opinions on bit rings on a horse's bit please?

Sorry I ment to say rubber bit rings. I'm thinking of putting some on my mares 3 ring happy mouth gag
If you have an eggbut bit, I don't think rubber rings are necessary, but on a 3-ring gag or any other bit that doesn't have an eggbut then they can help stop it pinching her mouth.

You're welcome.
Not suggesting you won't, but please ensure they are washed after each use, or else they can build up saliva and when this dries it causes rubbing and chafing. They do make the harder bits a bit kinder.

Not really my business but if you horse needs a severe bit, would it be worth revisiting basics and doing something like join up?
