Carrion crow or Jackdaw?

I often find it hard to tell these birds apart. Is there an easy way to differentiate between them?

Carrion Crow - Larger and pretty much jet-black all over.

Jackdaw - Smaller and a grey(ish) head.

Carrion crows are all black, beak and feathers, jackdaws have a dark grey neck and light eyes, rooks have a white/light grey junction between face and beak

I have looked it up before but always seem to forget.
But I have def got it now. Crow is black, black, black!

Hooded Crow by the sound of things SandyRoe. usually found in NW Scotland and NE England.

only its light grey rather than fawn the only fawn and black bird I can think of is the rose coloured starling it looks like a small fawn and black corvid

Rowanwitch, I googled Hooded Crow and that was it. I thought they were fawn and black. But grey + black they are.
