Quite a busy day today. Took in 3 adult cats & mum & 5 kittens. Mum has been reserved & is going to her new home next week & the kittys all reserved & will go end of next week after they have been nuetered. One of the adult cats was brought back in after only a week as new owner said she wasn't house trained & when i asked what she meant she said she tried to take some food off a plate! Anyway when she brought her back she asked for her £50 donation back which we had to give her! The good news is i rehomed her 2 hours later to a lovely couple who fell in love with her instantly & the cat took to them immediately!

A cat stealing food? Never - you wouldn't catch either of my two stealing food. They are too damned fast and crafty to be caught in the act.

The first cat that I was adopted by was a very old gentleman when I got him - the first few weeks were pure he11 and I wanted to hand him back. We (me and the cat) worked out our differences and spent five years together. I am glad that your returned kittie got a new home and I hope that she will be happy there.

It is nice to see mummy cat getting re-homed before the kittens .

Why don't people get their cats neutered? As my vet once said "cats breed like rabbits".

Yes wolf, why don't people get their cats neutered thats what we keep saying!
well done kat, like wolf63, i am darned sure most cats manage to get what they want without being sussed! My cat Trish has spent a while outside on froday night and came back wiyh a deep choking cough, but she's not done it since, I'm keeping her in now to see if it happens again

Hi dotty, hope she hasn't eaten anything with bones in! Keep an eye on her.
Cats don't steal food. They take what they should have been given in the first place.
that's the sort of cough it sounded like, I'm hoping it work it's way through, she's started going out for a short while every evening but I don't let either of them out overnight

Very true micmak.
Lovely to hear that kat1.. perhaps the cat thief will be happier with this new couple anyway.. Sounds to me like the previous woman didnt deserve her! Ridiculous! Harvey Pickle Pants tried to stick his head in my cereal bowl last week whilst I was STILL EATING it!!! naughty naughty!!!

Where abouts is your rehoming centre?
I have a friend who wants to get two older unwanted cats this year!
to ask for your donation back is totally out of order, you should have charged her that for returning the cat ! People like that should be banned from keeping animals but at least the poor cat is better off without this horrid person.I think I would have slapped her.
