On journey to london over 100 Stokenchurch pigeons in the air...glorious.... some great views on the way home too especially at Oxford services where one was showing off over the car park......

We're talking Red kites here? Yes, very impressive -until they crap on your newly washed car or drying laundry - then I regard them as pests!

Big birds....big poo....but still totally awe inspiring... I'd dry my washing indoors and put a cover on the car....

I heard on the Scottish news a couple of weeks ago that Red Kites were being sighted again, if they do to my washing what the local seagulls and crows do, I'll scream at them.

A bird in flight can be a wonderful sight to behold tho/

I have yet to see a Red Kite apart from on TV. They are certainly a big Bird with a 6' wingspan.
Hopefully one day as I scan the Horizon to the East, one never knows who or what may appear !!
