Highlights of last week were a Little Stint, Hobby, and a Family of 4 Otters on the River Bank
The Great Crested Grebes are still incubating their Eggs after their first clutch was washed away.
The young of the Plovers and Common Sandpipers have all fledged and are roaming about.
It is a lovely site to visit for those who have not been before.

Also two great crested grebes on the river have been trying to nest build again when their chick born in May suddenly vanished, but the nest seems to have vanished now - washed away maybe? I feel so sorry for them losing their one and only chick.
We had two greylag geese visiting the other day, never had them before, at least on the section near where I live. It made a change from the Canada geese. By the way, I saw a great crested grebe a couple of days ago with its winter feathers already, but its head was still the usual colour. Have you ever known them to change into winter feathers so early? I haven't.
