Fantastic! When you watch the web cam, it keeps stopping. Is that what happens?
Is this the same osprey that they thought was dying a couple of years ago?

yes, tilly, it is and I watched her struggle thru all that and her recovery as well - cried buckets when it was all over !!

I'm going crosseyed, I need a break !!

Tilly - nobody really could decide what it was, but on 19th June 2010, early morning, the Lady was flat in the nest, couldn't get up and not able to eat or feed the chicks. Her mate kept bringing fish but she wasn't able to rise, so after about a day, he began to feed the chicks - he was amazing I'm so sad he hasn't returned this year, anyway on the Monday am she had lifted her head and was showing signs of recovery, but still wouldn't eat. I spent those days totally glued to my computer, and when she finally flew from the nest, presumably for a drink, then returned and started eating - talked about wrecked and that was just me !!

There was a lot of ideas that she might not return the next year, a lot of us just kept our fingers crossed, she did, and now has a chick this year !! Quite a Lady
