Problem we are having is with seagulls.Last summer there were 2 babies that had been left by the parents and a neighbour across the road fed them.
Thought no more of it until now and have lots of these adult birds...not sure if these 2 babies are amongst them but the huge problem not only is their screeching noise most of the day but landing on our cars and knocking on the windows and doors.....how do we get rid of them....we have other inside pets of our own and they are getting alarmed by knocking gulls on their windows....any help would be appreciated...there is no food left outside so they are not attracted to bins and we can't keep shooing them away every few moments. Thanks

only posted that reply just to see if I would get any serious people instead of silly comments and these gulls are scaring lots of people.Love animals and am a pet owner so wouldn't hurt a fly but would value sensible help.
Live and let live animals4me. I live by the sea. I chose to live here. The gulls were here before me. If they were annoying me I would move. I suggest you think of doing the same if you find them so unbearable.
I hope you don't think this is a 'silly comment'.
Oh and not a very good choice of user name.

only said this to see if I could get sensible replies of help and not stupid comments.wouldn't hurt a fly but lots are scared of these gulls here .
They are scary up close and really huge. OH had his head split by one, you have my sympathy xx
I gave you perfectly sensible answers. There isn't a lot you can do about them.
Oh...just spotted this...do hope you haven't joined in the gull killing, A....it really is bad luck to kill a gull.
I had an odd uncle....well 4 or 5 odd uncles but this one was the oddest. Living by the sea he was well used to gulls and they never bothered him til one day he took a fit of some sort and killed a gull....Aunt C was furious.. ranted on about the ill fortune that would befall the family.
We smiled at their rowing until a couple of weeks later his two youngest boys drowned in the lake above their house.
I would be wary, A.....take care.....x
