I'm pretty sure I can see four chicks, but one seems lethargic to say the least. Can anyone confirm there are four?

Ringed pigeon leg just arrived for high tea.
Yes there are 4 but 1 seems smaller than the others...........

The one in the middle, nearest camera is getting some food but not a lot. Greedy beggars at front of queue getting loads.
The smallest 1 was the last to hatch.....normal with birds of prey & owls.
Yes the distribution of food doesn't seem fair..........

If food is short the smallest owl gets eaten & so on :-(

Yes, carrust. I saw it on Springwatch a couple of years ago. Survival of the fittest I guess.
Out of the 5 chicks that hatched last year in Dorset only 2 survived. The chickc ate 2 & the parents ate the other!
Looks like a gull has bitten the dust....there's white feathers everywhere!
