Hi redman :)
It is indeed good news. We had already planned our annual trip to that area for next spring, it now appears we may get to see some of this great programme being filmed. I see bill oddie will be back as part of the team, not sure how I feel about that, I like the current team now that mikhaela has settled in to her role. Although bill is very, very knowledgeable I did find him a bit too dominating at times. Will reserve judgement though x
Hi, Red.....looking forward to it....and did you see the clips of them taking the lady who had the cochlear implant to hear the dawn chorus for the first time ever? So moving....

Not sure about Bill Oddie either...he's a bit annoying...

Hi ethandron !
Here is the Link
Bill Oddie will only be making Guest appearances, thankfully.
Although knowledgeable, he can be irritating.
We go to Norfolk every Year as the Birding is excellent there as well.

Physically fit as a butcher's dog.....mentally?....Anyone's guess....
You wouldn't believe the things I am doing to avoid taking my ears into Kettering hospital... :-(

Love to Rowan....pint in the summer?...x
Oh that's good to know, about bill. I didn't catch the whole programme yesterday and just assumed he was going to be back as a permanent fixture.
Yes, we combine the two areas in one trip redman, the whole area is wonderful isn't it? For one reason or another we can't get there this year but will be going to the Northumberland coast in the autumn, it's another great birding area, saw my first eider duck there and was totally amazed.
Hope alls well with you and rowan x

It has been very good so far, shame it's the last week next week.
Minsmere has so much to offer there is no real need to look elsewhere for material.
Bittern footage is superb
Isn't Chris Packham's enthusiasm absolutely infectious, I've been thoroughly enjoying this year. :-)
Question Author
It's the kind of Programme that appeals to all ages, shame it has to end next week.
Chris Packham and the Team are very knowledgeable although Michaela Strachan is there as a Presenter rather than an 'expert'
The BBC at its best and I have to say that the current presentation team are the best ever.
