Thank you, mamya.
I have stroked some birds of prey in the past, they are very beautiful creatures aren't they?

They are, Mamya. We had a fabulous afternoon. We started off with a Little Owl and worked our way up, in size, to the Bald Eagle.

I loved it!

That looks great, sloopy, wouldn't mind a go at that myself. That bird wasn't frightened by a crowd was it.
no, not at all Tony, they filter it all out. None of them there are ever hooded either and they're all flown free regularly- ie tipped out to fend for themselves - for days at a time.

The feeding thing was funny. One of the kids asked what they eat and the falconer, holding a lump of dead chick, said deadpan "turkey poults." The little'un, no wiser, just said "o, right" and carried on
Tipped out for days on end, sloopy !, i'm amazed that they return home.
Question Author
A lovely video, sloopy. Thanks for sharing that.
