According to Wiki "The chickadees are a group of North American birds in the tit family...". It goes on to say that they are "extremely shy". I took this photo last Fall in a nature-trail area on the shore of Lake Ontario. I took some seed with me, and they were landing on my shoulders waiting their turns to eat from my hand, so they weren't too shy. But, obviously the ones that lived there were used to people...Tiny little things.
