If you get suspended is it normal for the Ed never to reply to emails?

Even when the suspension has ended surely you are entitled to a response other than a computer generated email?

Got a 10 day suspension for a non offensive post but no response from the Ed as to why

the Ed doesn't reply to emails from anyone, suspended or not; I think he gets too many of them.

You weren't wearing wellies indoors, were you? That's an automatic 10 days.
