>>> or they selected you
Their mum selected me, DTC.
>>> Send them to me for a couple of nights
Are you sure about that, Rowan? Here's a cut-&-paste from an email I sent to a friend last month:
"My lot are as bonkers as ever and still preventing me from getting much sleep. The other night/morning I went to bed at 3.30am (which is around my normal time) and I was just starting to doze off when Tablo, unusually for her, decided to curl up alongside me (which was wonderful but still woke me up). A little while later Biscuit arrived and Tablo decided to take her leave (waking me up again as she jumped off me). Biscuit spent a few minutes on my chest, doing that pounding thing that cats do, preventing me from getting to sleep. Then he left but my peace was short-lived as Tablo arrived back to curl up with me again. She only stayed for a few minutes though, again waking me up as she jumped off. Then Chequers arrived and demanded to be fed. (He'd actually got a bowl full of food waiting for him but he sometimes likes me to get up and show him it personally!) A few minutes later I heard a shrieking noise from outside, which could have been almost anything in nature but which I worried might be coming from a cat caught by a fox. So I jumped out of bed and found myself standing outside in the street, in my underwear, being stared at by four totally bemused (and perfectly safe) cats! It was then 4.25am, meaning that all that lot had happened in just 55 minutes. Most nights are like that though - I hardly ever get any real sleep!"
So, are you REALLY sure you want them?
