IT'S been a week of extremes at The AnswerBank. You all wanted to know, what's the oldest, the slowest, and the biggest.

Silver wanted to know which species of fish lived the longest. And the rather aptly named carpman was able to provide an answer, click here to see it.

James George had a fishy question too, which one has the largest biomass Jin reeled in the answer, click here toread it.

ATOB2 wanted to know which animal moved the slowest and swissfox came up with an answer. Think you know the answer too, check here.

Srollason fancied knowing why tumbler pigeons soar into the sky and then suddenly repeatedly somersault down again. Henryn knew the rather disturbing answer. If you want to be enlightened click here.

A question of breeding: silver needed to know about dog fecundity and swissfox reproduced the answer here. Hopefully deekirsty is just curious about where hippos reproduce and isn't actually thinking of breeding them, Isaacr has an answer which will hopefully put her off.

Mum121 had a group question about hens. Both anneduncan and mother plucked an answer out for her. Read them here.

If you're planing a visit to the Arctic you probably need to know that a polar bear will attack you with its left, rather than right, paw. But how do we know this to be so Homer explains all here.

It's been so cold recently and garden birds need all the food they can get, but is it safe to feed them bacon rind Lord Panda wanted to know Both mother and Henryn offer advice here.

Well that's everyones curiosity satisfied, or is it if you've got any question about Animals and Nature and you need to know the answer just click here and ask away.
