I know a few web-sites have these 'enter the code' things to prevent auto-mated responses, but surely the ED could tweak something.

Boxy...you have to tick a box...put something in the text box...then type in a code.

Like Boxtops, I've never seen a code. I just ticked the report button.

If you've just clicked report I don't think your report would have gone through.

The code is at the bottom of the yellow/amber reporting page. I always have to enter a code when reporting so how come others don't have to?!

I think codes like that (captchas) are usually low contrast to stop automatic recognition by OCR.

The 'kaptcha' code I see is multi-coloured and very visible.........?

And I've reported a fair few times..........:D
