Who else is looking a little peaky?
Jobs was probably a special case for the following reasons:
1. Regardless of what you think of Apple they have changed things for the better regarding UX.
2. The apple-core logo was easily thought of and implemented!
3. I was quite touched by some of his speeches, especially the "live hungry, stay foolish".
But I will endeavour to make a logo every time something needs to be marked.

New logo ? The one I see has returned to the rugby one and not noticed a change for a while now.
Apple ? Whist they've done well I tend to think they get more praise than is appropriate. They weren't the only personal computer around and for years you had to go to their store to look/buy one. More of a prefessional graphics PC of choice for a while. And whilst the iPod was interesting before it became a cult/everyone must have one thing, never been impressed by slabs/pads/the like.

OK. But as someone who has recently replaced his mobile phone with a touch screen type, I'm unconvinced things are getting easier. It has me at screaming point when it makes out I've touched the screen and asked for stuff I've no intention of asking for. I used to be able to text one handed whilst walking down the street and watching where I was going. Now I find it difficult to get anything out using both hands and not concentrating where I'm going. Every other word has to be returned to and corrected often more than once. I think 'designers' are too concerned in getting a quart into a pint pot, and limiting stress and frustration for the user had dropped quite far down the list.
