I know there's no plans plans to introduce any new categories, and I know that this has kindoff been suggested before, but anyway. A Reminiscence section might work. i.e. Does anyone remember.......?blah, blah, blah.

The reason  ask, is..does anyone,  especially you girls who enjoyed a 70's childhood, remember "scraps"? pictures of cherubs and stuff. As a young boy at time, it just beffudled me, and it still does. Just what the bnggery was that all about?.

I remember when they added new categories, those were the days.
I wouldn't like to see too many categories, though. And, although it has the capability to be of interest, I'm not sure a "Reminiscence" category would be a good idea. It goes against the rough rules of the site in that it encourages "chat". While this site remains a question and answer site, "chatty" threads should be placed elsewhere on the Internet.

IndieSinger I agree wi you totally about the "chatty" bit.

So, IndieSinger, any plans for to-day?

Yes Chillum, I remember ~ scraps ~ I also remember sitting around in the playground swopping them with my friends and if someone had one you really wanted you would offer three or four of your best ones for it, as for what the bnggery it was all about I've no idea!! But I suppose it helped keep us out of mischief until secondary school when the scraps were then swopped for ciggies!!!

Now, when I were a lad it were different. We used to???

God, I wish I could remember.

Oh yes, we had hoops and a stick which you would bat along the road when you were walking (or running). Posh gits had tyre on theirs, but there were none of these fancy electronic toys that you see everywhere nowadays.

Anyway I batted my hoop to the cinema in the adjacent town one day when I was about 8 or 9 yrs old and left it parked outside.

When I came out of the cinema it had been removed and couldn't be found anywhere. I had to walk several miles home.
