There should be an Editorial response to all requests and suggestions which are correctly and appropriately submitted in this section.

Obviously, any item which has been wrongly posted should be ignored or re-directed to a suitable 'topic'.

Hi Sqad...I am pleased that you have diagnosed my illness and agree with my continuing to take the medication, which I have self prescribed. :-)

Ron.
Define "correctly and appropriately submitted" ron?

Ed doesn't have time to faff around looking for misposted threads, he's said so before.
Didn't he define it? He said 'in this section' and that those wrongly posted should be ignored. No faffing involved.
Ah - ignored, not redirected :-)
Why? Most of them have been posted before.
He gave a choice - and for a busy man 'ignored' is a good choice. I thought we had been told to post questions about the site here - but it's a bit frustrating when we do, and get no answer, so I think Ron is right to highlight this.
Question Author
I agree , the Ed cannot waste time on wrongly posted threads. However I do not think this is such:-

like a dog with a bone aren't you Ron? ;-)

Yes...Are you on my side .? :-)

Ron.
Thanks for your support Ron, but i think Ed is either on holiday (at the Olympics maybe!) or so anti the Olympics that he doesn't want to be dragged into a conversation about it.

There's time yet for him to surprise us on his return with a token bonze medal!
Question Author
I recall the Ed having indicated that he was in favour of the Olympics, but that may have been before he fell off his bike.:-) He'll know what I mean.

Ron.
With the best will in the world Ron; if I was Ed and saw a thread from you in suggestions, I'd be likely to just delete or ignore it. You come across a bit dogged sometimes with your posts to Ed, and I'm not sure it does you any favours. Just my take on it.

And no, I don't see why Ed or his/her team have to answer absolutely everything in this section. Especially if it's already been answered or completely off the wall.
I think I answer most of them?
Ed, You didn't answer mine. Obviously I didn't expect you to answer the second bit - that was for other people - but it would have been nice to receive a reply to a genuine query.

As long as they are not repetitive, argumentative or vexatious, I agree.
Ah, good point. I did scribble something down about that... I know there is no limit for subscriptions. The average was difficult to work out previously as the data exporter went a bit wobbly last month (meaning I couldn't export it to excel to find your answer).

I'll find out shortly :)
Ed - is it possible to delete multiple subscribed posts or do they have to be done 1 at a time?
^^^Subscribed threads . . .sorry
Ed, Oh no, please don't bother about the average number. I was asking other ABers - just out of curiosity. Thanks for your answer. :o)
