Good call Neti!!  I noticed at least one new user this week getting annoyed at chattiness in her thread.  It seems that the section is very much needed!

Here there have been complaints of chattiness.  I REALLY hope my latest post doesn't end up getting anyone in trouble.  :-S

Artful - are you referring to the same user complaining in other threads?  That seems a bit silly of them really.  I mean complaining of chattiness in one's own thread normally relates to being sick of getting too many emails.  But in other people's threads? Hmph!

Yes,acw. It was in a thread where comments were made that no-one had iven an answer yet but I can't remember the thread. Saw it when I got in last night - as VINNY might say - I'd been on the local fruit juice again!!!!!

neti I don't think that the new chat category (if it really happens) is likely to be launched at a weekend. Ed wouldn't dare go away & leave us to it in case it turned into a rowdy all-nighter. As if.....??!  :-)

ah Robinia - I only thought Ed could have left us with something to do and say, as someone on the AB is moaning about chatting and were we to be on our own (allows slight chatting) topic then we'd be happy and could really find out who are in the dungeons this day.

I believe they will do the chat section robinia. They have to anyway, as they have to try and stop all the chatting that goes on in the threads. They said "next week" but people under and over estimate all the time. Besides they are searching for a name in amongst all the suggestions put forward. It will still be hard to stop chatting sometimes, as one subject leads so beautifully into another. Such fun, and there are some spiffin' characters on the site.
