I don't understand anything at all. Which post has been pulled, TCL? The "am I wrong?" one is still there and so is Vinny's birthday one. I understand nothing of nothing and it's very frustrating - excuse me while I go and throw a wobbly...........

tricky... perhaps if you got a papal bull countersigned by HM the Queen and the AB Ed your old name could be deleted and a new user-friendly, imposter-unfriendly one could be inaugurated... meantime, we must all be careful about which corbyloons we respond to.

It looks as if the ABEd has taken care of the impostor - hopefully for good.  All the fake posts I spotted at lunchtime have gone and the THECORBYLOON on this thread is the real one.  As woofgang says, it is best not to specify how it was done for fear of encouraging others.  In the thread that was pulled I stated what was done in order to let you folks tell the real from the fake.  Now the fake has been expurgated, there is no further need for the description so I won't repeat it.

I believe it happened recently to vinny100, (and lillabet too I think).
Just be aware that it can happen again and stay alert.

SASHAGREEN  You're right about folk not being able to have the same names but the imposter spelt his/her name in such a way as to appear to be mines at first glance and that is why it was accepted but he/she has been stopped.

As for proving I am THE THECORBYLOON foos yir doos?
