Only ask once

When we post a new Q can we keep it simple and just post it in one place rather then in a few different catagories. This happens more and more and it gets a bit annoying reading the same question over again. I understand the most people will have a glance at most catagories anyway so you just waste your own time posting all over the shop.

milly, maybe you could report some of the posts when they seem to be in wildly wrong categories? If you click on 'wrong category' they won't be banned, just moved to somewhere more appropriate. AB Ed does this personally for ones in ChatterBank, I gather, but I think other ones only get tidied up if users draw attention to them.

If they are posted by the same person, then I report them as duplicates. Sometimes its the same question posted by two different people, then I post a link to the other question. I do agree it is a bit silly and pushes other legit q's of the page

Unfortunately we cannot deter people from pushing the submit button twice, but as woofgang recommends - if you notice the same Question being posted by the same person, than please Report it as a duplicate. Otherwise, if the same Question is being asked by two different individuals (as often happens in Quizzes/Puzzles) then we should let them both go - for humanity's sake.

I have been guilty of this but it will never happen again. Partly out of respect for other peoples� wishes and partly because milly has a key to my house and I don�t want to find my rabbit in the saucepan.
