The public did view it - then it got removed for being irrelevant to a thread and admittedly also adding to an ongoing disagreement.  It was a good call on Ed's part to remove it - I shouldn't really have posted it in the first place.

acw you're the only person I know (cyberwise) who'd thank someone for banning them. A bit of harrumphing is surely in order before the backpatting, otherwise AB Ed will get too complacent.

Oh I wasn't banned, just one post "removed", although now I think about it, despite Ed's insistance that it's "removed" not "banned", I think the banner said "banned". 

I was actually also only really grateful about having the post marked in my profile.  I always have problems finding the ones that have been removed - but this time, and in the future, I can find them more easily! YAY! :-)
