Banned Answer

I have 8 banned answers and would like to know which ones they are, is there anyway to do this as i dont think i have put anything on worth banning, Would it be too much trouble to get an email when one is banned like you do when you get an answer?

Click on "my profile" (at the top left of the screen) and then go to "questions I've answered".  The answers which have been deleted have an orange bar on them to say so.

I would also like to know what answers have been banned...but I don't wish to go through 300 + answers to find the removed ones....

an easier way?

I vote for the e-mail notification as well!

500+ ?  Piffle and humbug!  I've done 8914 answers so far.  That doesn't count several thousand more which don't exist any more because the whole thread was deleted.  However, due to my calm and friendly personality, and because of my total aversion to writing anything which is disagreeable or argumentative or controversial, only 1084 of them have been deleted.

Hi All,

That counter is the bane of my web Existence.

The suggestion to send an email when a post has been removed has been noted before. The last I saw, it was perched in a Heavie's lap, looking up into his blank eyes, with a pleading smile across its lips.

In the meantime, as I mentioned before in a previous thread, realise that most threads that are removed are due to duplication or they were part of a thread that was entirely removed.

NOT because they were offensive. Unless of course you're posting about Fish, in which case the AnswerBank takes a stand of zero tolerance and it will not only be banned but irreconcilably kicked to the curb.
