This has probably been suggested loads of times before, but how about a members profile page where we can see details about each other, such as age, sex, occupation etc. We could even put down favourite films, music and books etc and no one would have to leave their details if they didn't want to. No names would be involved so would still be anonymous.

I like the idea that an answer to my question or my answer to somebodies would be judged by the answer itself and not by any credentials that I have posted in my profile.

Fair point and I agree. It's just that sometimes I wouldn't mind knowing who I'm talking to. Like now, I'm picturing you as a Val Kilmer lookalike!
you can find my pic on another thread or two ( yeah the vanity ;-) but going home now so will let you search ! not Val Kilmer esque I feel though!
Also, there is the small problem of there being thousands of members!

That's true. Okay I take it back. Bad idea! x
Sorry lissyI78, I wasn't saying it was a bad idea, just not very practical. I didn't realise until then, that there were anything like as many registered users :-)

I know, it's unreal! Kinda makes me think twice about some of the drivel I've posted (well not really LOL)
