Morning all if I'd known you were having a cosy party I'd have come & played goosegog...I was only watching telly/reading the paper/eating cadburys mini rolls. How sad is that? Had an early night, put tv on in bedroom - big mistake - & got into that film The Edge but fell asleep....spent all night dreaming & now have a head like cotton wool.

Vinny do you think we're all winos in Derby then? I've been to most of those pubs at some time but hardly drink at all now - I just appear to be permanently blotto. I was disappointed with the 'ladies night' on the bigdancelist.com btw.

Jude have you ever been to a ladies night? I went to one at the Bluey a few yrs back - lets just say I didn't dare take my skirt to the cleaners so I washed it (it was ok!)

A miserable morning round here isn't it? Washed load of towels through the night thinking it was going to bright and frosty today and I could get them out for a bit. Big mistake. They're now hanging around in my spare room! Hope you have a good Sunday, I'm cooking for me and my Dad as usual.

Hello you lot. Well yes I have a tumble drier, but I always hang washing out overnight first or all day, and then tumble just to finish them off else they'd be on the line for days never getting quite dry as we have no radiators in house on which to dry things. So stop making me feel bad!!! Ole tidytins is now starting on empty video cassette cases, bunging them in bins, regardless of whether or not there is a cassette in machine. I made his day yesterday when he discovered TWO yes 2 half empty salad cream bottles on shelf. Life is never boring!!!!!!!

Hi all I'm back from my Dad's and I called at my sister's and had a bowl of rice pudding so you are welcome to the trifle Robinia mind you I perhaps wouldn't say no to some for my tea.

My eldest son has just rang me, he lives down south and he was complaining he had heaps of marking to do this half term. Apart from that they're all alright thank goodness. See Neti I suppose you never really stop worrying altogether, but not quite as bad as when they are quite young and not settled. He's 44.

Some b**tard turned off my water meter this am and as it's miles from my house (thanks to Spanish planning) I couldn't get it on, have waited 4 hrs for the waterboard to check it and it was turned off, ggrrrrrrrr haven't been able to do my washing. I HATE IDIOTS. Will now go away until my temper has calmed a bit.
