Why could myself and others not post an answer to a quiz question. The answer was L E A C * C K and I find it very silly that this name was blanked out. Who has the petty mind???

Answerbank doesnt check each answer and **** out anything that could be considered a swear word. They use a software which automatically blanks out words with rude meanings.

For example, the TV programme Never Mind the *********. Now if i'm right, when I post this answer, it should blank out the last word.

Maybe, but you have to remember the amount of posts written daily on AB. For the Ed(s) to fine tooth comb each and every one, leaving in the genuine words and removing the offensive ones would be one mammouth task.

You have to remember there are kids on this site, and I feel it is safer to do it this way than to leave a very rude word up for all to see until the Ed gets round to deleting it.
