here y'are puzzlesRus - there are very few 28mm digital cameras - apparently it's quite difficult getting sensors to work on wide angles, so they're only just coming on to the market.

bah, sore foot, kept me up till 4am; called NHS Direct but they couldn't help, just suggested I see my doctor, so I have made an emergency appointment for <sound of trumpets> next Tuesday. Am pouring Deep Freeze all over it (like Deep Heat only cold).

Can I be 20 again please?

Poor you jno. Sounds as if it might be an arthritic/rheumatic type pain. I am often kept awake with foot pain and it's quite distressing. All that walking in The Big Apple, perhaps? I wear Birkenstock footbed sandals around the house and outside all summer long. They help a lot. Have just had some special insoles made to correct the position of my foot and the podiatrist says that Birkenstock's are the best shoes anyone can buy.

Of course it could be gout!!!

This is gout.

It's been niggling since before I went on hols, flared up a bit while away, so I had to buy my nifty little collapsible walking stick, but suddenly for no reason started throbbing like crazy last night. After 2 nurofens and a co-proxamol (one of the last that I hoarded when they were taken off the market) it calmed down enough for me to sleep... <sighs with self-pity>....

Well, I hope everyone else is ok. Nice and sunny here though not particularly warm. Sleet showers predicted for the weekend, however.

Afternoon all Vinny I hate heights - you wouldn't catch me up there but I liked the view - (the males)! and I love tennis - roll on Wimbledon.

Had to take my car back again today (the one I bought on 13th December lst year) Absolutely fed up with it they put me a new throttle housing on because the accelerator was sticking and it is now doing exactly the same thing. They let me have a 55 Fiesta but I don'tlike it as much as my Focus. I think I'll have to have words with the top man!

For the bird watchers - no Vinny, calm down, there are swallows in the Stenson area, not far from here (Jude will know it)....poor little things, fancy coming all this way to such cold temperatures.

Vinny Friday night is usually dancing night but this Friday we're going to The Assembly rooms to see The Vampire Rockers. Wow!! A musical thingy - don't know quite what to expect. Music of AC/DC, Queen and Bon Jovi etc...May come out with my head ringing!!! :o)
