Boo hoo it's not Mothers Day here, that is the first Sunday in May, but in reality we celebrate whichever, when daughter has the money to buy flowers. Her Dad says "she's not my mother so am not paying" nice huh? Beautiful warm and sunny day here.

My son that lives way down south rang me yesterday and said sorry but my card was going to be late he forgot to post it. Never mind we had a good chat. My other son and his girlfriend are coming round later.

I am off out shortly for lunch with my bros and other crew members as my brother C. is 73 today ..bless ! We are going to a carvery.

evening all - had a busy day, shame the weather took a nose dive.

My youngest son came with flowers and left with a box full of clutter I'd saved for him....seemed a fair swap. I told him if he didn't take it away now he'd only have to do it when I'd turned my toes up & the house smelt of mothballs and tcp. He's kicking himself for not saving the boxes for his Wade piggies - makes the value increase tenfold!

...looks like it's chocs & poirot tonight, hope you've all had a nice day.

Hiya robinia...glad you had a nice day..ive got about 30 of those little wade animals...picked um up years ago for fluppence...(almost nothing)but no boxes.Yep its poirot fer me to...is it me...or does anybody else think he walks like a .: penguin ..hehe...must tape planet earth.there's a cave in mexico that you could fit the Empire state building in...and this guy freefalls into it with one of those parachute thingys completely in the dark and lands on a load of bird droppings..um think its the right episode....have a relaxing evening...you chocolate scoffer...save me one fer tomorrow...bye for now...wave's goodbye.....>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>( :-)

I am sitting listening to those video clips whilst reading through the Biddyposties. Thom York's wonderful voice sends shivers down my spine - and that lovely young Jagger. Moving shortly to the Kinks and then to Pink Floyd. Not a great fan of the Beatles but a lot of their stuff is fine - preferred their earlier stuff....

You lot have had a great time flying about on carpets, I see. I have a man coming to measure for a new carpet tomorrow...............shall probably demand a flying one now!!!

Had some speciality marmalades and honey from MasterG yesterday, bought from the local farmers' market. Yummy!! Went to see my Mummy yesterday armed with chocs and flowers. Didn't go too badly.
