I share my birthday with Seejong the Great (of course), Sigmund Freud....and Tony Blair.

I enjoyed that Vinny I used to love those compilation 45s, great for dancing to. The best one was Squeeze, Squabs on Forty Fab which was only meant to be a B-side joke.

Kit we've got one of those scary haired singers...in fact we've got a matching pair..

Yes, someone should have pulled her off with a shepherd's crook, haha...in all fairness though he did keep holding on to her.

did you see we've got Post an answer on the bottom too?

:o)
On and off snow flurries (or is that a mcDonald's desert?) sun out now, but cold, I am so happy have been skipping along the road. Yeti boots lovely and warm but leak so am wearing 2 polythene bags inside!!!
so we have, Robinia. And how long has the Report This option been on individual posts?
Sun now :-(
Has anyone see Harry Potter and the hakf-blood prince, if so, can you tell me why Snape killed Dumbledore? I was doing so well following the story and then I lost it!
Can someone recommend a free photo download prog as Cam2pc isn't working for me, thanks
neti - no sorry (to both of your Q's) ....I'm not a Potterette...and Tarquin sorts all my puta stuff & shows me what to click & where

jno - now you mention it, it might have been there yesterday...not sure
huh thanks robi, suppose you couldn't swim if I was(were) drowning!!! :-)
correct

:o)
goodness, a flurry of snow - I could almost be in Ibiza!
Afternoon each. I'm really pd off with this weather now. I really want to get out for a good walk. I went to my sister's via a short root across a playing field this morning which believe it or not was easier than walking on the pavements. It's been snowing on and off all day.
Mind you I shouldn't moan as some people have burst pipes in Derby also some have a gas leak and have no heating which must be awful.

That;s me gripe for the day. Hope all my biddy friends are keeping warm and snug and not suffering too much with aches and pains.

It'll be another night watching the box then I guess. With a Baileys of course!!
Jude I was p'd off with it 2 hours after it arrived! It looks lovely....and that's all. I avoid going out in it if possible, I don't want to fall or catch anything....bad enough coping with the creakiness without a virus on the top. I worry for the world, specially those who are ill or who have to drive in very icy areas.
I might have already mentioned this - hope you're all keeping a bucket & big pan of water on standby...nothing worse than being cut off & not being able to put a drop of tea in your brandy.
My sister phoned earlier for a rant about finding strangers who never normally shopped locally clearing her co-op of supplies...I was chatting about that on here this morning...in true grumpy biddy style she made a very loud comment at the checkout...hahaha, well done sis! There should be a notice 'If you haven't shopped here in the past 2 weeks you can bogof somewhere else now' :o)
bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

(Actually I'm toasty warm indoors - but I do venture out each morning with the bird food and have topped it up this afternoon).

It's too cold in this room to linger, but love to you all.

Neti you don't really find out why Snape kills Dumbledore till the last book
Thank you woofy - have been out for a lovely curry and a few wines (hic) came home and the cat had shat in this room, thanks to Mr N for allowing it to stay indoors, gawd sat next a boring woman in restaurant who knows it all, she's been here about mins. Tried to clear up the cat's mess but due to an excess of curry and wine found it rather distastefull, so Mr N moaned and wielded the mop around. Can't stay in here as it stinks yuk..hate men, cats are ok!!!
hate men, cats are ok??? Personally, I'd go for the one that hadn't shat in my room, but it takes all sorts I suppose.

Had friends for dinner and spent the evening showing them how to cut and paste. I thought everyone knew that - I forgot that not everyone spends all day on their computer, or works in an office that has lots of them. Well, nice to feel I'm making myself useful once in a while.

Sitting listening to Ruby and the Romantics 'Young Wings can Fly' - so rare it's not even on Youtube, sorry, but it's lovely.
I'm watching The Exorcist and being scared to death. I didn;t see it first time around - now I know why. Now I've got indigestion Bu99er it.
Morning all, very sunny but cold. Am sitting in bed with central heating on. Mr N has gone, yet again, to golf - grrrrr!!! House stinks of disinfectant!
Make your head spin, Jude?

As yes, I fancy a game of golf myself...

Just mind the walrus hazards
Damn it, I think my laptop has been hit by a virus, cos it won't do anything and there's just the dreaded blue screen, can't even turn it off, any advice welcome (please!!!)
