Hi All,

Due to technical development all new activity in the ChatterBank will be suspended beginning tomorrow. Users will not be able to post in this category.

We hope to reintroduce the chat room at a later date, with improved security and registration procedures in place.

Thank you very much to all who have made the ChatterBank a unique and interesting community on the web and in the AB. We hope that our loyal CBers will continue to use the AnswerBank in its traditional guise, as an open knowledge exchange.

Might it be useful for off-site meeting points (such as the recently departed Froggers for instance) to be linked to from ChatterBank once the category's closed.

I'm just thinking that it might save other categories being hijacked/overloaded, although I'd expect an 'enter at your own risk' caveat to be applied somewhere.
