How can you tell if an AB poster is a longstanding member or a newbie?

Other forums I post on tend to show a counter of number of posts, profile,PM system etc... AB doesn't appear to have anything similar, or am I just missing it?

There isn't an indicator of that kind on AB, but I've been a member since 26 September 2002 if that helps.

We do not currently have a member counter, but woofgang is right - new registered users are green for the first two weeks as a way of introduction.

You have answered my question, because I was reading a thread where one member said

"I can see that you are new to Answer Bank"

And I was wondering *How do they know they are new - if there is no posts counter*

there is a certain amount of anti-newbyism about, isn't there, prompted by the use of green. In theory they have the same rights as oldbies; the green is just to highlight trolls who sign on simply to annoy other users then run away.
